The Muckleburgh Military Collection News and Events

The Museum is open from 12 February 2012
Feb 12th - 19th,
Sat/Sun only Mar 3rd - 25th
then Every Day Mar 31st - Nov 4th

10.00 am - 5.00 pm with last Admissions at 4.00 pm

The Restaurant is currently unavailable until early April 2012
due to rebuilding work.

A new Restaurant will be available for the 2012 Season.

The Museum is undertaking a wide ranging rebuilding project this autumn which will see the existing Restaurant
demolished and replaced by a new catering facility.

The new facility will include better restaurant facilities catering for all tastes in comfortable surrounding with
panoramic views of the Norfolk coast line.

The building will offer wide ranging views of both the coast and the off shore wind farms.

A Meeting Room will be included enabling clubs or societies to book the facilities.
It is also proposed to hold exhibitions of local history, ornithology and nature.

Children’s Play Area

The Children's Play Area is currently unavailable
due to rebuilding work.
A new play area will be built outside the Restaurant overlooking the tank demonstrations
thereby allowing parents to keep an eye on their children while relaxing in the Restaurant.
It will also enable picnics to be held without leaving the museum..

The event is open from 10.00 am - 5.00 pm daily and the Muckleburgh Military Collection is of course open as usual.
