Model & GULF WAR Room

An array of over 300 vehicles and aircraft greets the vistor upon entering upon entering the Model Room

Practically every vehicle used in World War II is represented here together with the most important pieces of Artillery. Some of the Aircraft displayed date back to World War I.

One show case displays depicts the crew of a "Flying Fortress" outside their crew room before "scramble".

Also in this room are further show cases illustrating various theatres of war, which have won their maker Mr Geoff Schaffer, a number of National Model making awards.

In addition there are displays of equipment from the 1990 "Operation Desert Storm" campaign in Kuwait, actual uniforms, guns and examples of the propoganda material available at the time. There are even fragments of the infamous Scud missile to be found in this room.
