Visits by Schools or other Groups to the Museum are welcome and offer schools the opportunity for students of all ages to gain an insight into the historical nature of the United Kingdoms Armed Forces from the 1700s through to the present day.

The display includes a wide range of varied exhibits in addition to the large collection of military vehicles for which the Collection is so famous. A package of exhibits is also available to School groups to enable individual students to see and touch artefacts from the war period and with prior agreement, arrangements can also be made for uniforms to be made available for students to wear from the time.

Visits can be tailored to specific study themes or can simply enable a general picture and feel for events and everyday life both on the home front and as a member of the Armed Forces.

Coach parties are welcome and offer parties a special day out with much to see.

Group visits are reasonably priced and can, if required, be inclusive of lunch in our newly refurbished Restaurant.
Alternatively Groups can make use of the Museum picnic area if they wish to bring their own refreshments.
