The Diorama Room

This leads off from the Weybourne Room, or can be approached from the corridor at the head of the Model Ship display

This room is divided into individual dioramas dedicated to various aspects of life during wartime, events, services and equipment. See the diorama of the Battle of Britain, including an instrument panel of a Spitfire along wth a collection of parachutes, maps, clothing and navigation equipment.

Many other displays including cabinets, showing music and memorabilia from many theatres of war. Items such as Commando fighting knives, Japanese swords and even a foldable dispatch rider's motorcycle ( fully portable ), got to be seen to be believed!
